Do You Have Kids? Haha :) stfuparents: Links Round-Up Whew! It’s been 4-Ever since I last posted a round-up, and now I’ve got links dating all the way back to like 2001! Apologies if any of what’s below (or above) is something you’ve seen. Just remember that every little link has its place in the world. Also, I’ll be posting a couple more round-ups this week, yay! Let’s start with the above chart, aptly titled “Should You Have Kids?”. According to the chart, you must first ask yourself if you consider Disneyland exotic. Thanks for sending, Amy! (via MomLogic) Nicole Kidman allegedly drinks her own urine and eats placenta to stay young. That’s a double whammy right there. Thanks (I think) to my homegirls at The Gloss for sending! (The Gloss via NY Post) “A Swedish couple believe so strongly that gender is a social construction that they do not reveal whether their 2.5-year-old is a boy or a girl.” Make of this what you will. Thanks, Mallie! (via Salon) “According to recent research, the more unique the moniker you bestow on your little ones, the more narcissistic you may be.” Peesh, it’s ‘yooneeque.’ Duh. Thanks, Pia! (via Lemondrop) A woman in Bristol claimed she was thrown off a bus for breastfeeding her 6-week old baby and the media was like, “Yo, that’s wack!” Turns out she made the whole thing up. Hmm, reminds me of Crazy TSA Lady. Thanks, Elizabeth! (via) This story really pissed me off. A new NYC policy only allows kids to sell processed crap foods like Doritos and Pop-Tarts to raise money at school “bake sales.” No homemade items are allowed. Why? Because of advertising, that’s why. Life is so lame sometimes. (via NY Daily News) “A Bremerton daycare director has resigned after she allegedly gave a baby the wrong breast milk, then tried to hide the mistake.” Yeah. I’d be angry, too. Thanks, Shawna! (via) This is sad. A South Korean couple starved their real baby to death because they were too distracted by a role-playing game in which they were raising a virtual baby. WTF is wrong with people?!! Thanks, Wendy! (via Boing Boing) Jeez, depressing installment of Links Round-Up or what? Here’s a story from The Onion that only the Onion can get away with writing. Thanks, Loki! (via The Onion) This Times article titled, “Honey, Don’t Bother Mommy. I’m Too Busy Building My Brand.” stirred up quite a bit of controversy. Sassy!
